Just as Christ needed to grow in knowledge, faith, character and physically, so too is our call for providing a comprehensive Christian education. As we grow children academically, we must gently hold and grow their spirit so they may reach their true potential in Christ. Therefore, our educational philosophy is built on four key principles:
- We believe Jesus Christ is our Savior, our example and the foundation for all we do and learn.
- We believe that children should learn using an effective, time-tested curriculum focused on the “three R’s” – Reading, Writing, Arithmetic – that can be adjusted to their individual needs during the beginning stages of formal education, and accelerated as they progress through elementary.
- We believe children should be rooted in biblical knowledge, academic skill, and foreign language at an early age when their minds are pliable and enthusiasm is highest.
- We believe in small classes, individual attention, experienced teachers, physical activity and outdoor play, and a loving environment for student’s total development – spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social, cultural and physical.
