We offer a wonder-filled time of learning and faith development that allows children to learn and play at their own pace. With a variety of program days and times offered, class sizes are limited to 8 children for 3's and 12 children for 4's, with optional add on options for art, music and Spanish. Children at Geneva Christian have every opportunity to grow socially, spiritually, emotionally and academically as they learn how to interact with others, follow instructions, develop core academic skills through phonics, and learn more about God’s world and His creation.
Our distinctive school setting promotes a strong community of students and teachers that work together and care for each other. With small class sizes, learning is enhanced with individualized academic goals and flexibility. Our students excel in reading, writing and math due to the individual attention and small class size. Students also stay motivated to achieve with consistent classroom structure, challenging Christian curriculum, service learning experiences, field trips, and teachers who care for their social, physical, emotional, spiritual and academic needs. Our curriculum is enriched with chapel, art, music, physical education, Spanish and classroom technology.
The middle school experience is a non-traditional classroom. It focuses on three different areas: outdoor education, service learning and city & community exposure. The framework creates a greater awareness of self and calling, and helps grow self-confidence to prepare students for high school. The goal of the middle school classroom is two-fold: First, to develop thoughtful, reflective and empathetic students, who can articulate knowledge and thoughts exceptionally well through written and spoken word. Second, to create a unique middle school experience that focuses on hands on learning, active engagement with literature and writing, and a solid progression of faith and scripture study.

Education: Elementary Education with a minor in Reading from Cameron University (Lawton, Oklahoma) Why Geneva Christian? I enjoy teaching at Geneva Christian School. It is wonderful to be able to talk openly about Jesus!! I have spent years teaching in public school where I always tried to talk about God, but had to do it in a very quiet way! I love being able to share God’s love to children. It is wonderful to have coworkers who share the same love for Christ!! Each morning we pray for each child that walks through the door of our school! I feel our school is a unique place where children can grow in God’s word. I am so happy to be teaching at GCS! Something I love to do in my classroom: In my classroom, I teach the Fruit of the Spirit. I want each child to know that as Christians, we should stand apart and that people should look at us and know that we are children of God! I only have two classroom rules for my students, they are showing respect for everyone and always using the highest level of integrity, even when no one is looking. I believe these are important standards to live by and my students are always striving to live by these rules. It is my pleasure to teach in a Christ centered environment. I feel all children would benefit from a small classroom and God’s word taught daily.
