GENEVA – Tatiana Anderson didn’t want Geneva to be without a Christian school after the closure of Faith Christian Academy earlier this year. That school closed because of a looming deficit and declining enrollment.
Anderson’s husband is on the board for the new Geneva Christian School, which recently opened its doors following the closure of Faith Christian Academy, which had served students in second through eighth grades. Geneva Christian School serves students in preschool through fourth grade and is an outgrowth of Faith Christian Beginner School, which also closed and had served children age 3 through first grade.
Geneva Christian School is in the space it rents at Faith Lutheran Church, at 1745 Kaneville Road, which previously housed Faith Christian Academy and Faith Christian Beginner School.
“My husband and I felt very passionate about having a Christian school in Geneva after Faith Christian Academy closed,” Anderson said.
